Being an early 90s baby, I remember feeling an immense pressure to look a certain way throughout my middle and high school years while flipping through teen magazines and watching America's Next Top Model. So many years spent wishing I was smaller lead to unhappiness & a disconnection with myself.

I found yoga the summer before my sophomore year in high school and my mat became my safe space, where I could accept and love myself for who I am. As my journey on the mat continued into my 20's, I knew in my heart that my struggle with body image wasn't a unique experience and the societal pressures that the fitness + wellness industry perpetuate needed a drastic shift.

In 2014, I became a certified yoga teacher and began leading weekly classes. Sharing the practice with others felt like my true calling from the start. After teaching yoga for 4 years, I noticed that while my flexibility was great, my strength was lacking. I began to incorporate new exercise modalities into my personal practice, and fell in love with moving in this way too.

Around that time, I went on a journey of learning again, completing barre, pilates and strength trainings. Since then, I've also added pre/post-natal, meditation & breath work and more yoga modules and trainings in the Baptiste lineage and Awakening Yoga Academy. Even over a decade later, my love for movement continues to grow every single day and I'm always striving to evolve my teachings.

My dream is that you’ll always feel supported and seen in my classes, with the freedom to adapt what needs to shift, embrace imperfections & messy moments, and grow within your practice in your own way. I believe that a movement ritual is a lifelong companion that will provide you with a deeper understanding of self, empowerment and endless joy. Getting on my mat has been my greatest teacher, and it’s an honor to walk this path with you.
